N Client, a global leader in electric motor manufacturing, specializes in electric vehicle drive systems and is actively expanding in the global market. Initially, they planned to outsource the entire equipment for this project to other coil winding machine manufacturers. However, concerns arose regarding the coil winding and insertion processes. To address this, N Client's senior technical personnel from their Japanese headquarters conducted capability tests on GMW's insertion machine and molds. The tests demonstrated that GMW's design not only achieved a 92% slot filling rate for insertion but also optimized molds for other projects, offering comprehensive technical services. Consequently, N Client entrusted the critical processes to GMW, enabling GMW's official entry into the EV Traction Motor equipment industry.

The project encompasses a fully servo-controlled slot paper insertion machine, vertical winding machine, insertion and inter-phase forming machine, automated stator handling systems, and custom stator carriers. The primary objective of the production line is to minimize human factors and ensure stable, efficient production of high-safety-rated EV motors. Ultimately, both the initial production line and subsequent delivery lines smoothly transitioned to mass production, granting N Client a competitive advantage in the EV Powertrain market ahead of other manufacturers.
